To Bring List :

1) 3-4 set of clothing. [ edit : for those who are staying , 1-2 sets of clothing for those not staying.]

2) Your own small shampoo and soap + face wash if u need to.

3) Slippers and shoe. ( you can wear slippers to the chalet and put ur shoe in the bag, or wear ur shoe and put ur slippers in the bag, Either way is fine with me. )

4) Towel ( for water games and punishment )

*note : punishment for water games, not for chalet. i would like to make it clear that i DON'T punish any more for misbehavior. *

5) Money for bicycle and other stuffs that you need on that day.

Rates For Bicycle are ....

1hour - 4-6

midnight charge is 10+

whole day charge is 15+

(2 years ago i book a 1 day full day bike i guess, cost like 20 or wad, i forgotten. )

6) Medication if u have to.

Optional :

- Psp and Psp Chargers. ( if u lose it, it's not my problem. )

- Handphone charger ( if you need to, or u can share with your frinds )

-Mp3 or any song devices. ( if u really want to sleep with music on, i dun mind )

Apologies for not updating this blog.

Quest Drama Club 2009,

We went a very long way, where things were so screwed up in the beginning, and practices were killing each and everyone was us,

where we grumbles, wishes time to pass fast, and chit-chat like nobody's business. Whatever it is, things were not as good as now.

Sec 1(those that are sec 1 in 2008) were not socializing much and i often have to crack my brain to think of your names. Often have to shout at you all at the start and ms khoo was always complaining about the lack of attentive in you guys.

However, times goes by, and you guys slowly improve, much to our delight. ( PS: i always got scolded because you guys were noisy :x ) or much to MY delight ^^

BUT, what happen on SYF day totally make me felt like a "father" of the club. Everyone deserve just a pat on the back. SM(aka junda) and me was talking about the crew, where 2007 crew was much better, BUT you all proved us WRONG, SO WRONG.

That day, i saw the FASTEST and QUIETEST crew ever. its like, a miracle but you all really did it!

Actors and Sound/Lighting Crew also deserve another praise/pat ( i know i actor luhh, but im not biased. :X )

You Guys rocks. And i think we are truly a family after all.

Secret : Liling turned back and tell me... " you know, without drama i feel so confused and lost. "

yah, i shared the same feeling. The feeling of parting with this warming family that i finally created and found, i really cant bear.

Please, juniors, don't have the same feeling as us, cause we really miss drama now. Its after those tough training and when it finally ended, we miss it.

Its like, grumble when there is something for us,
and when its gone, we miss it alot.

All i have to say is, lets wait for our results, cause we know we can do it.

* i am very proud to be your president, though i have lots of flaws, but i really enjoy you guys company. Even though i always sit alone, play my DS , Emo one corner and also play with my handphone, smsing. I really felt that we are like family.

And when people ask me, what's drama club, i will tell them, its My Family.*

Special thanks to Ms Khoo who made me a president, made me go through all these and finally learn so many things. Thanks to her for constantly adding the pressures so we can really tide through.

BEFORE i forget, Your Vice President will be making the Shirt ASAP. ( hope so yah, her actions quite slow too. )

But the sad thing is... You guys have to pay for the shirt.

PLEASE DON'T GRUMBLE! cause your chalet is paid by your Dear teacher, ms khoo. (:

[ my past history : i was formally going to join badminton when i was sec 1, when there is this teacher who sat down and tell me how useful drama is.

there was the time where 18 people who are fierce who surrounds me cause i sabo-ed a smoker, and there was this teacher ( she left us already... MS SIM :D ) who conusel me and help me get rid of that dark memory.

so, did i regret joining drama, the answer's obvious. we have the best teacher in our Drama Club, what for turn against her rules? ]

well first i am sorry for not updating this blog cause i simply had nothing to update about.

Praise:

- you guys discipline are getting much much much better. u guys never fail to make me happy every drama session cause of your discipline. Though u guys are still a little noisy here and there but hey! lets look on the brighter side, u guys actually improved (:

er, when i wasn't the president at all, i thought to myself, that i really wanted to take over the club to try my own style of handling the club. I am really really very happy that u guys actually make an effort to keep quiet.

- our teamwork is improving and i seriously want to bond the whole club together, and not groups of people here and there. i really wish u guys can bond with the sec 1 too cause i dun want them to come to drama with a gloomy face.

Negative things that needs to be improved :

-Though i am happy about the discipline, i really want u guys to go for that extra mile and be super quiet for every rehearsals. ( sorry if im asking too much, but we really want a silver/gold. )

-The punctuality is really a problem for most of you. Please try to improve on that cause rehearsals are really short, just 2 hours only. lets cherish the time and really make the best out of it.

-Still not happy with some of the really noisy people. hope they change for the best before i have to implement a rule call......

Drop 10, 20 ,30 , 40, 50.

and i certainly do not wish to do it that way. i understand the fact that u guys don't want to be scolded by us often, so prove it.

Just to reply to both Lingesh and the .... person at the tagboard.

I want to clarify something,

I know you guys want lesser scolding or maybe no scolding at all. But scoldings are inevitable. without these scoldings, we cant spot our own mistake and improve ourselves. If you actually think we like to scold people, then think again, shouting just causes us to have sore throat and all the displeases among the group.

I often get scolding too. is either you guys are too noisy or i am also talking. but most of the time, when i look around, i only see people talking.

Can we all pull up our socks and focus. I know im not a GOOD president. i have my flaws too. I tend to enjoy gaming more than drama and i have to DRAG myself from this bloody computer to school and trust me, i never ever like doing that at all.

Think about the open house at this Saturday. all those boards and all those banners that we put, we actually came back to school just to do all these stuffs. Darren had to come back on thursday where you guys are still at home sleeping/playing comp/watching tv. But he never said anything nor whine.

Think about the performance you guys put up too. Rate yourself be it 10 the highest and 1 the lowest. ( just to tell you guys, i actually rate myself as the MAIN PROBLEM CAUSER in that SYF play due to my pronunciation. ) well, if you guys want my truthful comments, i don't think that the perfomance that day put up was quite up to the standard.

So let me emphasize, Can we all help each other to focus. Well, our discipline had improved and i am proud of you guys.

Give your best shot in everything, no matter you are part of the cast, part of the SM/ASM , sound lightning crew or just simple props movers.

Just to tell you more, Even Moving Props Do have POINTS in SYF.

well, thats what i want to say. Scolding are inevitable so don't blame us for all the Scoldings.

Drama Practice For This Thursday is only for Sec 1 and 2s ( those in Mr Yuen's Drama time. )

Drama Practice For Everyone will fall on 20,21,22

where 21 November will be Rehearsal for Open House and the making of booths and banners and final touch up.

22November is a MUST come. Open house is on that day, those not involved in the play will be doing other things ;D

1)Rehearsals for Drama club is scheduled on Every Tuesday

2pm-4pm.

2) There will be an Open House rehearsal On 21/11

3) Open House will be on 22/11

Guys, we have decided to push chalet till Next year's june. we do not want people to cramp inside that small deluxe ( even thought coasta sands say its big, but we tried it b4.) and we couldn't get a Aloha chalet, hence we decided to push it back.

we have decided to go for a play, which is a comedy one and sits were running out fast. So, the whole drama club will be going for a PLAY on 4TH DEC at 7.30

5) For actors or maybe some lucky people, you guys will be going for another play which is on office romance on 27TH NOV at 8.30pm.

PS: we are very sorry for not having the chalet on this year, but we will have a swensen's treat by Ms Khoo. <- eat all you want. (: i think it will be on 9th dec.

PSS: we need a silver for SYF.

PSSS: We will have a new play after SYF.

Objective : Cycling and to teach those who want to cycle
Dangers : Minimized, you won't get any injuries when u learn to cycle cause we will teach.
Time : 8.40-2pm

there will be additional games or play with sand if more are going, Trying to get a volleyball so we can play beach volley at East Coast Park.

Announcement

anyone wants to learn how to cycle before chalet. because chalet, night that time will have a midnight cycling, hope alot of people will cycle along. However i know many people dunno how to cycle so, we are planning to teach those who are interested. Dates will be told or, if u want, please tag me a date at the tag board :D
